Dr. Kip Saunders

Dr. Kip Saunders’ pursuit of professional excellence and opportunities to give back to his native state of Texas and the Montgomery County communities has been a life’s work.

After graduating Baylor Dental School, Dr. Saunders served ten years in the U.S. Air Force training, practicing and teaching as a periodontics specialist while simultaneously achieving his Masters Degree in Soft Tissue Graft Profusion from The University of Texas Dental Branch, holding associate professor positions at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans and receiving multiple service distinctions and awards.

In private practice, Dr. Saunders and his team have grown two offices in The Woodlands and Conroe, have provided personalized advanced care to thousands of patients and have regularly supported hundreds of dentists in the implant placement and restoration processes. Dr. Saunders’ commitment to providing the best implant care available was the driving force behind his completion of over 13 surgical and prosthetic advanced implant training programs at the the Misch International Implant Institute and achievement of fellowship status from the International Congress of Oral Implantology early in his career. Since then, Dr. Saunders has regularly attended and provided lectures locally and nationally on the latest techniques in soft tissue grafting, advanced implant placement and the latest technologies impacting implantology.

Dr. Saunders serves as a dental policy advisor to the US Congress in addition to being past president and charter member of the Greater Houston Society of Periodontics, past president of the Brazos Valley District Dental Society, charter member of the Texas Society of Periodontists, life member and previous office holder of the ADA, TDA and Southwest Society of Periodontics and one of the founders of the Pankey Study Group of Texas and The Houston-Conroe-Huntsville Implant Study Group.
