About TeethXpress Dental Implants St. Simons Island, GA

If you are a one of the millions of Americans dealing with missing teeth, Dr. Capes is here to help. Full arch tooth loss (edentulism) is more common than you think, and you are not alone. Dr. Capes understands that not only does tooth loss affect the way you eat and speak, but you may also struggle with self-confidence. Edentulism can also cause bone loss in the jaw. Uncomfortable, and sometimes intolerable, dentures are not the only option. Dr. Jeffrey Capes offers TeethXpress as an immediate solution. TeethXpress is an alternative solution to dentures, partials and crowns that use dental implants to support a natural looking, full-arch bridge that won’t slip or click. What’s more, the entire procedure and final restoration can be completed in one day. Contact Dr. Capes to find out if TeethXpress is right for you.

Dr. Monto

Dr. Monto grew up in northeastern New Jersey, only a mere 13 miles from his beloved NY Yankees. While attending Fordham University in New York City, Dr. Monto met his future wife, Margaret. He went on to graduate at the top his class, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Monto chose to attend the University of Pennsylvania for his dental training. While in dental school, Dr. Monto was awarded a summer fellowship, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, where he found his love of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Working with a team of maxillofacial and oncologic surgeons, it became clear that the ability and honor to have a profound effect on the lives of people was Dr. Monto’s calling in life.

After graduating with honors from dental school, Dr. Monto chose to pursue his career in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at yet another Ivy League institution Columbia University. It was there that Dr. Monto earned his medical degree, completed an internship in General Surgery and earned a certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. During his time at “Columbia,” Dr. Monto participated in several cleft palate missions in Central America, through Healing the Children. For the past 9 years, Dr. Monto has worked in both the academic and private sectors of healthcare, while residing in the suburbs of Dayton, Ohio. While on staff in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University, Dr. Monto was awarded the prestigious “Outstanding Teacher Award,” which recognized his dedication to the training of our future surgeons.

Dr. Monto feels honored to be joining Dr. Capes at Coastal Oral Surgery and is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible to their patients. Dr. Monto is proud to be amongst a group of health care workers who are dedicated to their patients’ well being and truly believes that healthcare is a calling, not a profession and that he is blessed to touch the lives of all those he encounters in his profession.

In his spare time, when he is not watching sports, Dr. Monto prefers to enjoy, rather than merely live life. He spends quality time with his amazing wife and partner of 30+ years, Margaret, whether it be walking the trails of their neighborhood, cycling, gardening, trying out any amazing restaurants in the area or just sitting on their front porch and listening to music or reading a favorite book. As a couple, they are proud of their two adult children! They love to visit with their fashion-industry daughter, currently living in Milan, whenever they get the chance, and jump at any opportunity to see their sports-fanatic, music loving son living in Columbus, Ohio. Go Bucks! Go Yankees! Go Nets!
