Dr. Gene Messenger

Gene Messenger, a native of Rome, NY, is passionate about his patients and his profession. For over 26 years, he has been committed to providing the best quality of care by utilizing the latest advancements in dentistry and patient comfort.

Dr. Messenger received his bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Harding University in 1987. He then graduated from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 1991. He is certified by the American Dental Association and belongs to the FACCD. He specializes in CAD-CAM, lasers, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Messenger has been using CEREC for over 20 years and is on the CEREC doctors faculty. He is also on the faculty at implant seminars where he teaches doctors how to place bone grafts and implants, as well as perform sinus lifts with hands on learning.

In March of 2014, Dr. Messenger received his diplomate status from the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). Certification attests to the fact that he has demonstrated knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry through a rigorous examination process. He has placed over 5,000 implants and is dedicated to furthering his education on implants and continues to take courses on advanced bone grafting procedures, ridge augmentations, and sinus lifts.

Dr. Messenger is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Berkshire Dental Society, International College of Oral Implantologists, World Clinical Laser Institute, and has served as the vice president of the Academy of CAD-CAM dentistry.
