Dr. Jeff Sherry

Dr. Sherry received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Biology at Vassar College in New York.  He later went on to attend Emory University College of Dentistry in 1984 and graduated first in his class.  Dr. Sherry continued to advance his skills by graduating from the University of Washington with a specialty in Periodontics in 1986 and his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Periodontal Microbiology in 1987.

Dr. Sherry has served as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member teaching Periodontics at both the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Regents University) and Emory University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Sherry has been in private practice since 1987, specializing in Periodontics and Dental Implants.  He has practiced in Peachtree City, GA from 2002 to 2011 and in Douglasville, GA from 2002 to present.

Dr. Sherry takes great pride in providing expert specialty dental care to his patients, specifically through his vast experience with dental implant surgery.  He has placed thousands of dental implants and treated thousands of patients over his past 30 years in practice.

Dr. William E. Carroll, Jr.

Dr. William E. Carroll, Jr. is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a 1973 graduate of the Lovett School. He also earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Emory University. He graduated from the Emory School of Dentistry in 1982.

Dr. Carroll offers a number of preventative services to improve upon how people take care of their teeth and are protected from various potential dental problems that may arise. He also offers restorative procedures that include full x-rays and exams that allow people to identify various problems that need to be treated. His goal is to help patients be fully informed about the treatments that they can benefit from.

Dr. Carroll is interested in fitness and is an active golfer and weight trainer. He is also active in church groups including the Extension and Must Ministries benefiting the homeless.

Dr. Betsy Ayers

Dr. Betsy Styles Ayers completed her undergraduate training at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While there she was active as an officer in Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in Carrollton since 1990.

Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Ayers continues to enhance her dental training specifically in the areas of Dental Reconstruction and Rehabilitation using Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign Invisible “Braces” and Dental Sleep Medicine, by attending Advanced Continuing Education courses hosted throughout the United States.

Dr Ayers is active in organized dentistry. She is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ayers is committed to providing excellent dentistry in the most gentle caring environment possible. She is married to Jeff Ayers and they have one son, Tayler. Dr. Ayers enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding, skiing, travel, fishing, tennis and most spectator sports.

Dr. Monicha Drew

Dr. Monicha Hamil Drew is a native of the West Georgia area. She received her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Religion from Emory University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Monicha and David Drew met while in dental school and began practicing in Carrollton, Georgia. They have resided in Carrollton since 1990 after acquiring the practice of the late Dr. Alvin Crews. Dr. Monicha enjoys cosmetic and implant dentistry. On a personal note, Monicha and David have two children, Lee and Jessi. As a family, they enjoy being active together: saltwater fishing, boating, snorkeling and diving.

Dr. David Drew

Dr. David Drew is a native of Orlando, Florida, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina for his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. David enjoys endodontics, implant dentistry, and is very active in the leadership of the Georgia Dental Association. He has a heart for volunteerism, serving locally as well as many mission trips throughout Central America.

Dr. Tammy Armstrong Williams

Dr. Tammy Armstrong Williams has been a member of the Southern Dental team since 2004. Originally from the West Georgia area, she is a graduate of Villa Rica High School. She holds degrees in biology and psychology from Emory University. Her dental degree is from the Medical College of Georgia.

During her final year of study at the Medical College of Georgia, she earned the Ronald Goldstein Award for her talents in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

She held a practice in Newman, Georgia, for four years after graduating. She focuses on cosmetic dentistry procedures with an emphasis on implant treatments and root canals. Her services focus on treatments for all family members.

She is married to her husband Adam and has three daughters, Zoie, Grace and Lola.

Dr. Harkins and Silliman

Dr. Erin Harkins completed her undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College and Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Harkins completed an Externship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Guy’s Hospital in London, England. Her hobbies include exercising, travel, photography, gourmet cooking, Scrabble, and quality family time.

Dr. Scott Silliman completed his undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Silliman completed an Externship in Reconstructive Dentistry at the Indian Health Service in Tacoma, Washington. His interests include sports, exercise, music, and travel.

Dr. Harkins and Dr. Silliman are members of the Northwestern Dental Society, Georgia Dental Society, and the Hinman Dental Society. They were also recognized by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in the category of America’s Best Dentists.

Dr. Harkins and Dr. Silliman are a husband and wife team with over 40 years of combined experience in General Dentistry. They have two sons, Collin and Brennan, and three dogs. Dr. Harkins and Dr. Silliman are very involved in community events and service including Junior League of Douglas County, Upward Sports, Chapel Hills Community, Atlanta Track Club, and the Atlanta Humane Society. They are also active in their children’s activities including cross country, track and field, swim team, chorus, and room parents.

Dr. Usman Sajid

Dr. Usman Sajid is a Doctor of Dental Surgery originally from Powder Springs, Georgia. A graduate of McEachern High School, Dr. Sajid holds his dental degree from New York University. He was a participant of the Honors on Aesthetics Dentistry program at NYU where he trained alongside many top-rated dentists in New York City. He also spent time in a residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, one of the most prominent dental institutions in the country.

Dr. Sajid is a member of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. He is the chair of the PACE Committee and in 2017 became the Vice President of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry. He also focuses on FDA and OSHA-compliant procedures and services to improve upon the functionality of the dental industry.

Dr. Sajid is a sporting enthusiast and enjoys traveling and food.
