Dr. Li Chen

Dr. Li Chen started her dental education in 1992 in Wuhan University, China and is always passionate about what she does every day. After graduating, Dr. Chen pursued a four year prosthodontic specialty clinical training at Peking University, a top dental school in China. She earned a clinical prosthodontic specialty certificate and Ph.D. degree. Dr. Chen was awarded Top Graduate upon completion of her dental training in China. During her residency training at Peking University, she primarily worked in Prosthodontics and the dental implant department.

Dr. Chen moved to the U.S in 2001. She worked for the World Congress of Oral Implantology in Manhattan for a short period of time, followed by two years of clinical training in the advance standing program, at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. This advanced clinical training earned Dr. Chen a D.M.D. degree in 2005. Before graduation, Dr. Chen earned an outstanding performance award through the Endodontic department.

After graduation, she has been seeking the best dental continue education program in the nation. Advanced continuing education training has allowed Dr. Chen to keep her clinical skills and knowledge up to date. Some examples are: She joined Columbia University’s implant training program in 2009-2010, NYU’s full mouth reconstruction program from 2015-2016, NYU implant program from 2016-2018 and stayed there for another year of clinical associate.

She is an active member of the ADA and the NJDA. Dr. Chen is also an Invisalign Certified Doctor, Perio Laser certified clinician, Certified TeethXpress Provider, and is a member of the America Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Chen is a gentle, dedicate and patient dentist. She has three kids and speaks English and Mandarin fluently.
