Dr. John Argeros

A graduate of Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. John Argeros has been practicing dentistry since 1977. Although our practice offers a full range of dental treatments, Dr. Argeros’ focus is within dental implant services. He has been placing and restoring dental implants since the early 1980s and received his board certification in dental implants in 2007 from the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.

In 2009, Dr. Argeros became one of only a few hundred dentists in the world to receive a fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He was also named to the Publication Review Board for the Journal of Oral Implantology. He holds a mastership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Argeros is truly an experienced dentist and implant expert!

A past president of the Massachusetts Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Dr. Argeros has been providing all types of dental treatment under intravenous sedation since 1977. He also is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association and the North Shore District Dental Society.

Since 1979, Dr. Argeros has held an appointment to the North Shore Medical Center Union Hospital, where he provides surgical and restorative dental treatments in a hospital setting.

When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Argeros enjoys spending time with his wife, Ginny, and their many family members. Dr. Argeros also enjoys using his nearly three decades of piloting experience by flying his T-34 Navy Trainer, 007, around the New England area.

Dr. Donald Plourde

Dr. Donald Plourde graduated from Merrimack College and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the North Shore District Dental Society, the Internet Dental Alliance and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Plourde’s professional interests involves all areas of restorative dentistry, including dental crowns, dental bridges and dental implant restorations. Like other members of the Contemporary Dentistry & Implantology team, he enjoys reversing dental damage and giving patients a smile that looks and functions great.

Dr. Plourde resides in Peabody, Massachusetts, with his wife Kathy, and his daughters, Amy and Elise.

Dr. Matthew Epstein

Dr. Matthew Epstein graduated from New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, he completed advanced training in the General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. During his training, he treated medically complex patients in a hospital-based setting.

Dr. Epstein performs a wide range of procedures to improve both oral health and facial aesthetics. His clinical focus is restorative and cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on providing a painless dental experience in a stress-free environment. He has received extensive continuing education in all aspects of periodontal surgery as well as implant placement and restoration. Dr. Epstein is also certified in Invisalign orthodontics.

In his free time, Dr. Epstein enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with his wife.
