Jonathan Boes, D.D.S.

Dr. Jonathan Boes attended college in Cleveland, OH at Case Western Reserve University where he obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer engineering. In 1996, he moved to Raleigh and worked in RTP for various telecommunications startups, designing embedded software. Dr. Boes later decided to pursue a career in dentistry and graduated in 2007 from the University of Chapel Hill with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.

Dr. Boes continued his advanced training in implant placement, bone grafting and sinus lifting under Dr. Carl Misch, Dr. Mark Hunt, Dr. Glenn Reside, Dr. Matthew Hopfesperger, Dr. David Simpson and Dr. John Russo. He attended many courses including the Misch International Implant Institute, Triangle Dental Institute, Cadaver Bone and Soft Tissue Grafting, and Oral Sedation. Dr. Boes earned his fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (IOCI). During his career, he has performed thousands of bone grafts and dental implant procedures.

 

Dr. Boes, a General Dentist, has maintained a private practice in which he has concentrated training in the following aspects of oral surgery: Wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant surgery and restoration, sinus lifts, bone grafts and IV sedation. Dr. Boes was born in Fayetteville, NC and resides in North Raleigh with his wife Aimee and daughters Elizabeth and Emilia.

Brian Leech, D.M.D.

Dr. Leech was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois (go Cubs!). After spending most of their summer vacations on the North Carolina coast, Dr. Leech and his family were excited to relocate much closer to the beach!

After finishing dental school, Dr. Leech completed the General Practice Residency program at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. During residency, Dr. Leech gained a tremendous amount of experience providing IV sedation, dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Leech enjoys treating a wide variety of guests, including guests with dental anxiety.

Dr. Leech lives in Raleigh with his wife, Kate, their daughter Owen, and their newborn son Jack. When Dr. Leech is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family at the beach and giving back through various volunteer opportunities such as the NC Mission of Mercy (MOM) clinics.

Robert Long, D.D.S

Dr. Robert Long was born and raised in Monroe, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from UNC, and then decided to stay in Chapel Hill to pursue dentistry.

After dental school, Dr. Long worked in a local community health center treating our underserved population in the Triangle before deciding to seek additional training for more complex cases. Dr. Long went on to become a resident at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he gained extensive experience in IV sedation, implant placement, bone grafting, and wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Long loves doing surgery and using sedation to treat his most anxious patients.

When not at work, Dr. Long enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding, and discovering all the local foodie spots in the Triangle with his fiancée Megan. Together, they take every opportunity to travel abroad and expand their horizons.

Dr. Andrew McNeal

Dr. Andrew McNeal moved to North Carolina in 2010 to attend UNC Dental School. Dr. McNeal has since made NC his home. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. Post-graduation he worked for the Newport News Shipbuilding company and was a design engineer for both Nimitz class Naval Nuclear Aircraft Carriers as well as Virginia Class Nuclear submarines. Dr. McNeal later joined Northrop Grumman Space Systems and was the lead design engineer on the Naval Ballistic Missile Trident D5 program as an internal insulation specialist. In 2008 he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and Graduated from Weber State University with a post bachelor’s in microbiology. He attended the UNC School of Dentistry from 2010-2014 and graduated with honors.

 

Dr. McNeal has received training in complex surgical extractions, including Wisdom teeth removal. He also has advanced training in implantology and is a licensed IV sedation practitioner with experience performing surgeries in the Hospital OR as well as in private practice. Dr. McNeal is knowledgeable and equipped to manage all aspects of dentistry from the most straightforward to complex full mouth rehabilitation.

On a personal note, Dr. McNeal’s favorite time is spent with his family of three children; Tyson, Rebecca, and AJ. They enjoy the outdoors hiking, four wheeling, and rock or fossil hunting. They are also Carolina Hurricane fans and try not to miss a game!

Dr. Jonathan Puza, DDS

Dr. Jonathan Puza was raised in Lexington, SC. He attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, prior to his dental studies at the James B Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Puza was recognized as the top clinical student in his class upon graduation.

Dr. Puza was then commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army. He completed a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Fort Jackson, SC, and was again recognized at the top of his class. He served four years in the Army between Fort Jackson and Fort Bragg, NC, before leaving the service with an honorable discharge. He continues to serve in the US Army Reserves.

Dr. Puza works with his patients to provide them with the highest level of care, whether they require simple fillings or complex tooth replacement. He will also be expanding his services to include sedation dentistry.

Dr. Puza is joined in the Triangle by his wife Amber and their toddler Margot. Dr. Puza mostly spends his free time chasing around his daughter. He also finds time to go fly fishing when he can.
