Sanjeev Raj Bhatia, DDS, FDS, RCS

Dr. Sanjeev Bhatia has been trained at leading centers in the world, including the United States, England and India. Dr. Bhatia completed his residency training and Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from The Brooklyn Hospital Center and associated Cornell School of Medical Sciences, New York. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, California. While at Loma Linda, Dr. Bhatia was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor society for his scholastic and clinical achievements. Before coming to the USA, he completed his training and examinations in England to become a Fellow in Dental Surgery at The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr. Bhatia brings an extensive knowledge base and experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – especially in dental implants, bone preservation/augmentation, and concepts of ‘teeth in a day’ full-mouth reconstruction. His areas of interest are reconstruction of the edentulous arches based on advanced complex bone grafting and reconstructive procedures, 3-D treatment planning, pre-prosthetic, perio-plastic surgery and the use of laser technology. Dr. Bhatia and his team are among the few specialists who perform All-on-4,  Teeth-in-a-Day and TeethXpress dental implant-based full-mouth reconstruction in the Virginia area.

To keep abreast with the latest advancements, along with maintaining the exchange of ideas with his peers, Dr. Bhatia maintains affiliation with various professional organizations. He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Garima Talwar received her Doctor of Dental Science from Loma Linda University. She has completed several postgraduate programs along with an MS in Prosthodontics from the University of Maryland. Dr. Talwar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of The American College of Prosthodontists. She has received membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, UK.

Dr. Talwar has been recognized as the country’s top dentist in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry by Consumers Research Council of America since 2013. She was recognized in 2021 and 2023 by Washingtonian magazine as one of the Top Prosthodontists in the Washington DC tri-state area.

Dr. Talwar has practiced in the amazing field of Prosthodontics for nearly two decades. She focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry in association with implant dentistry. She uses the latest technological innovations in dentistry, including immediate placement and restoration of dental implants, computer-guided surgery, veneers, crowns, and Teeth-in-a-Day procedures. Dr. Talwar also performs CEREC restorations, All-on-4 concepts and TeethXpress prostheses.

Dr. Talwar is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the post-graduate program of Prosthodontics, at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. At Johns Hopkins, Dr. Talwar was formerly involved in providing prosthodontic services to patients who have suffered from trauma or cancer. She has also supervised dentists who are enrolled in the general practice residency. Dr. Talwar takes extensive continuing education on a regular basis to further her expertise and be conversant with the latest in the field of dentofacial reconstruction.

Dr. Talwar helps the community by providing pro bono services to patients in need. She participated in Smiles Across Loudoun events and assisted the local community with free dental services.
