Dr. Levon Nikoyan

Dr. Levon Nikoyan, originally from Armenia, has spent most of his life in New York. Dr. Nikoyan earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from New York University, obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is certified in dental general anesthesia and has published many articles on pre-operative management of patients, prior to anesthesia. Dr. Nikoyan has a special interest in pre and post implant soft tissue augmentation, soft tissue surgery and special IV sedation techniques. Dr. Nikoyan has always had interest in complete dental makeover and full mouth reconstruction because he understands the tremendous impact that this kind of a treatment makes in his patients’ lives.

Dr. Nikoyan is a member of numerous local, state and national dental organizations including: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, New York Dental Association and Nassau County Dental Society. Dr. Nikoyan has participated in numerous humanitarian missions to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Lastly, Dr. Nikoyan speaks many languages including Spanish, Russian and Armenian.

Outside of oral surgery, Dr. Nikoyan spends time with his family on Long Island where he and his wife are raising two beautiful children.

Dr. Stanley Matthews

Dr. Matthews earned his DDS from Howard University College of Dentistry, his MS in Medical Science from Hampton University, one BS in biology from Coppin State University, and the other BS in rehabilitation from University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

After Graduating from Howard University College of Dentistry, Dr. Matthews continued to pursue an oral maxillofacial internship, which increased his knowledge base and clinical skills to prepare him for a grueling and competitive residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Woodhull Medical Center. Dr. Matthews had the privilege of serving as chief resident with many accolades in his final year of his program.

Dr. Matthews’ love and dedication to his profession allows him to continue practicing, as he is a volunteer attending at Woodhull Medical Center, where he continues to give back to his profession and community through his interactions with their residents via surgical experience and lecturing. Not only does Dr. Matthews give back to his community locally, but he also donates his time internationally. Dr. Matthews visits Jamaica annually as part of the Caribbean American Association Medical Missions team, who deliver oral surgery and complex medical treatment to underserved regions of Jamaica.

In his spare time, Dr. Matthews lectures to middle school and high school children about pursuing their dreams and aspirations.
