Dr. Mark Schenkman
Dr. Mark D. Schenkman graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in biology. He went on the earn his DDS from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1994. Following his time in Baltimore, he went to the west coast and completed a two-year general practice residency at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Sepulveda, California, in 1996. After completion of his GPR, he moved to northern California and worked in private practice in Napa, California, and as a civilian contract dentist at Travis Air Force Base in Sacramento, California. One year later, he decided to serve his country and became an officer in the United States Air Force from 1997-2001. While in the USAF, he became trained in the removal of wisdom teeth and conscious sedation and caught the “Oral Surgery Bug.” He then was accepted to and completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency (chief resident in his final year) at Temple University Hospital from 2001-2005. In August of 2005, he became an associate surgeon at Attleboro-Cumberland Oral Surgeon’s, Inc. and became a partner in the practice in June 2007.
At his Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts, practice, where he is a Certified TeethXpress Provider, Dr. Schenkman enjoys helping his patients rediscover their beautiful smiles as well as restoring their ability to once again enjoy eating a wide variety of food choices with virtually no limits.
