Dr. Mitchell Gubler
Dr. Gubler was born and raised in Southern Utah where he attended Snow Canyon High School before receiving an associate’s degree at Dixie State College. After serving an LDS mission to the Samoan Islands, he returned home and married his wife, Robyn. They relocated to Cedar City where he completed his bachelor’s degree at Southern Utah University.
Dr. Gubler attended the prestigious University of Iowa for his dental training, receiving his D.D.S. degree in June 2012. He stayed in Iowa City to further his education in periodontics. Dr. Gubler performed research in the area of bone grafting prior to dental implant placement and received the first-place award at the Iowa Section of the American Association for Dental Research for his work in this area. He received his Periodontics Certificate as well as a master’s degree from the University of Iowa in 2015 and was certified by The American Board of Periodontology in 2016. During their seven years in Iowa City, he and his wife welcomed four children into their family. They are all avid Hawkeye fans and will forever cherish their time in Iowa.
Dr. Gubler’s new state-of-the-art facility is located at 368 E Riverside Drive, Suite 7, in St. George. He is excited to be back in Southern Utah and hopes to help the dental community better the oral health of its wonderful citizens.
