Dr. Richard Smith

Dr. Smith is a Graduate of The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He also earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in History and Bachelor of Science in Pre-Dental from North Carolina State University. Dr. Smith takes continuing education classes with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and implant dentistry. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing and fishing.

Dr. Robert Banks

Dr. Robert Banks graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School in Kentucky where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1993. He graduated second in his class and also earned the Hinman Scholar Award. He earned his Master’s Degree in Public Affairs at Kentucky State University and prior to that earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Louisville. He continues to take continuing education courses in restorative dentistry, implants and Invisalign. Dr. Banks spent 21 years working as a dentist in Northern Virginia where he owned two dental practices before coming to Roanoke. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family enjoying outdoor activities in the beautiful mountains areas such as camping, kayaking and hiking. He most enjoys cooking for his family, though. He is married to his wife, Lynn and has two daughters and three grandchildren. One daughter and her husband and their three children joined Dr. Banks and his wife when they made the move to Roanoke. He has found a new home here and is very happy to also be part of the family at Hunting Hills Family Dentistry.

Dr. Bradley Oliver

Dr. Oliver is a Roanoke native and a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Dr. Oliver takes continuing education courses keeping current on the latest research and techniques in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. Joining our practice in 2016, Dr. Oliver is thrilled to be back home in Roanoke and looks forward to serving our community for years to come.

Dr. Hunter Simpson

Dr. Hunter Simpson grew up in a small town in southwest Virginia. He attended Radford University where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. After college he married his high school sweetheart, Sarah, and moved to Richmond, Virginia where he attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Hunter enjoys fishing, hunting, grilling on his Big Green Egg and spending time outdoors with his wife and their two miniature schnauzers, Millie and Maya.
