Dr. Perry Brooks
Dr. Perry Brooks is a native of Blanchard, OK. He completed his undergraduate work at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, afterwards completing his oral and maxillofacial residency in 1995 at the University of Miami, under the tutelage of world renowned professors Dr. Robert E. Marx, Dr. Arun K. Garg, Dr. Anthony G. Sclar and Dr. Eric R. Carlson.
Dr. Brooks is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Brooks has previously led seminars on a variety of topics within the oral and maxillofacial field including the following: contemporary dental implants, obstructive sleep apnea, maxillofacial trauma, maxillary and mandibular reconstruction, cosmetic facial surgery and odontogenic tumors of the mandible and maxilla, among others. He currently holds the position of associate clinical professor at the OU College of Dentistry. His extensive experience has permitted him to serve as oral and maxillofacial surgeon of choice for the OU Athletic Department for the past 21 years. Both an active volunteer and board member for the non-profit organization 1040i, Dr. Brooks travels extensively worldwide to perform life-altering surgeries in rural West Africa and China, as well as both Central and South America. He also actively volunteers his time and talents at Good Shepard Clinic, a free dental clinic in Oklahoma City.
