Dr. Doron Kalman
A self-described “New York kid,” Dr. Doron Kalman immigrated with his family from Israel in 1983. He graduated from Francis Lewis High School in 1987 and received his Bachelor’s degree from New York University in 1991.
Dr. Kalman received his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1995. In 1996, he completed a general practice residency in dentistry at Catholic Medical Center and went on to complete four years of surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore Medical Center: The Albert Einstein School of Medicine.
Dr. Kalman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Further, Dr. Kalman is an adjunct professor at Long Island Jewish Hospital within the Northwell Health system.
Additionally, Dr. Kalman is currently a member of: American Dental Association, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Queens County Dental Society. Dr. Kalman has been practicing in Elmhurst, NY since 2000 and in Manhattan, NY since 2016.
Dr. Kalman is considerably involved in the dental community, as he served as President of the Queens County Dental Society in 2013 and has been on its board since 2004. He currently serves as the chairperson for the World’s Fair of Dentistry, an annual event where doctors continue their education in an engaging and cooperative manner.
In his spare time, Dr. Kalman enjoys road cycling and sharing a nice bottle of wine with friends and family. He loves spending time with his family, both at home and abroad. He has been married to his lovely wife, Ronit, for 26 years, and together they enjoy the company of their bright and wonderful daughters, Maya and Talya.
