Dr. Ali Mehraban

Dr. Ali Mehraban received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, in 1993. Dr. Mehraban’s practice focuses on comprehensive reconstruction, implants, cosmetics and sedation dentistry. Upon completion of his dental degree, he sought more advanced training in general dentistry in a GPR (General Practice Residency) at Genesee Hospital, School of Medicine and Dentistry, at the University of Rochester, New York.

In addition to his GPR, Dr. Mehraban attended a three-year residency specializing in implantology and periodontics at the Eastman Dental Center, School of Medicine and Dentistry, at the University of Rochester, a pioneering center in clinical research.

Dr. Mehraban’s commitment to continuing education has led him to participate in advanced courses in his field. This approach helps him to bring the latest, most advanced techniques and technology to his patients. Dr. Mehraban is the founder and director of Johns Creek Seminars, a study club that provides a variety of seminars and advances in the field of dentistry to local dentists and their professional teams.

Dr. Tim Byrd

Dr. Tim Byrd graduated from Lee University in 1994 with honors in biology and chemistry. In 1998, he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry, a program that consistently ranks in the top five dental schools, nationwide. He furthered his training by completing a hospital residency at the University of Vermont, School of Medicine. During his tenure as chief resident, Dr. Byrd gained experience in anesthesiology, treating medically compromised patients, sports injuries, fractures and lacerations of the jaw and mandible

As an aesthetic and restorative dentist, Dr. Byrd completes several hours of continuing education each year in the fields of implant dentistry, CAD/CAM and digital workflow, full mouth rehabilitation and aesthetics. Since 1998, he has helped his patients achieve the healthy, beautiful smiles that they desire. Dr. Byrd is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and actively volunteers in his community.

Dr. Byrd is happily married to his college sweetheart, and together they have a son and daughter. In his free time, Dr. Byrd enjoys traveling, fishing, mountain biking, back-country snowboarding and spending time with his family.
