Dr. Nilo Hernandez, Jr.

Dr. Nilo Hernandez, Jr.

Dr. Nilo A. Hernandez, Jr. completed his dental degree at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, in 1991. Prior to that, he also completed dental training in a foreign country that placed much emphasis on surgery and trauma procedures. With so much training in the surgical arts, it reasons why he has excelled at this chosen path with the greatest of passions and vigor.

Since 1991, Dr. Hernandez has placed and restored well over 15,000 implants and has been achieving and maintaining an extremely high success rate. Not only is he involved with the surgical aspect, but has always been involved with the restorative side as well.

For many years, he has been involved in teaching other dentists to become extraordinary with predictable results. As program chairman at two illustrious dental teaching clinics, he was instrumental in bringing Implant Dentistry to become mainstay at those centers and still is to this day. He has published numerous articles and been featured in many television and radio shows.

Dr. Hernandez, while being fluent in English and Spanish has lectured worldwide and given many thousands of hours of lectures on everything from surgical to prosthetic rehabilitations. He has impacted the lives of many dentists and patients from across the globe.

On a more personal side, teaching has always been his developed passion as only with true understanding is everything clearly aligned. Whether with patients, family or his peers, by having good foundational communications and education, goals for all can be achieved. Growing up and with his love of the ocean, he excelled at Scuba diving and even became an instructor and taught courses to hundreds for many years. Today, photography above and under water drives his fun and leisure times.  He has a wife and two wonderful children who also enjoy water activities and sunshine.
